The Cardio Tesseract (poems) by Amanda Knox & Christopher Robinson.

In this intimate and playful collaboration, Amanda Knox and Christopher Robinson write alternating love poems in conversation with each other, revealing the dynamics of their private life, their hopes, fears, and dark places, from thoughts of suicide and memories of prison, to dreams of raising children. Love is not static or stable, and in these fluid poems, its evolving and ever-unfinished essence is on full display.

Warning: The Cardio Tesseract is spatially and temporally unstable, for it is the product of love, which is its own beginning, ending, and reason for being. The emotional flux contained herein is the joint product of an ongoing collision between the hearts and minds of Amanda Knox and Christopher Robinson. These poems are private, each written only for the other. But it is that very intimacy that makes them universal. To read them is not so much to be a voyeur, but to become both sides of this spinning coin, to see yourself in a mirror reflecting a mirror.

Available from Alephactory Press and Amazon.
Praise for The Cardio Tesseract

"With a formal intelligence and playful fluidity, Amanda Knox and Christopher Robinson take their subject--love--at its most grave and most absurd. It's a marvel to watch their minds dance around each other."
          — Mary Karr, award-winning poet and bestselling author of The Liars' Club, Lit, and The Art of Memoir.

"For Knox and Robinson, love isn't a question of aesthetics or poses, but a genuine sensation of transcendent fact. And yet they're as self-aware as any verbal sleight-of-handers that language and meaning are slippery adversaries and lovers."
          — Tom Sleigh, Kingsley Tufts Award winner, and author of many poetry collections, including Space Walk, Station Zed, and House of Fact, House of Ruin.
