Your generosity and kindness continues to inspire us after our time at Endicott House. At the urging of Rick Sapio and Rich Manders, we've set up a fundraising goal with a specific project in mind.
As I mentioned in my talk, Chris and I are returning to Italy on June 11th to have a sit-down meeting with my prosecutor. Our vision is to create a 90 minute documentary about this journey. The film will present a model of how reconciliation and connection are possible against all odds through the very personal and intimate story of my own journey to see the humanity in my prosecutor and to offer him what kindness I can, despite how his actions harmed me and entirely reshaped my life.
We're filming the journey ourselves. We've already connected with an experienced film editor (Eric Frith), a documentary producer (Tom Wright) who's last documentary film, Edith + Eddie, won multiple awards, and a Grammy winning musician (Josh Karp) to do the film score. After we gather our footage on this fast-approaching trip, our goal is to work with this small team over the next year to complete the film and submit it to film festivals such as Sundance, Cannes, and Toronto.

Thanks to the generous contribution of Rick Sapio who pledged $10,000 that very day at Endicott house, we've got the initial expenses of travelling to Italy covered. Our documentary producer, Tom Wright, is acting as a co-director and mentor for us gratis. But we still need funds to pay our editor and composer. Our conservative estimate is that we'll need about $50,000 total to pull this project off.
We are so grateful that you'd consider supporting this project, which we hope will be healing, inspiring, artful, and award-winning, and help launch our small production company. We will post updates on our fundraising progress here. So far we're about 20% to our goal thanks to these generous Titans!
